My mind is not mutter
But neither is it stable
My gears eroding and rusted
An almost unplugged cable

My other selves angry
Or bloodthirsty, or scared
The house of horrors in my head
Cannot be repaired

At first it was one voice
Just a whisper once a day
A slight step off reality
A dilute dose of dismay

But then they got louder
But then there were more
But then, my severed sanity
Was severed once more

The beings began to populate
Was it harmony or danger?
I could not identify nor isolate
These super-schizoid strangers

But then came euphoria
But then came the peace
Breathe in insanity
My lobe up for lease

The voices, oh the voices
The laughter never ends
My schizophrenic strangers
Are my most trusted friends
